The Top Eyewear and Sunglasses Trends for 2019

If there’s one thing that all style mavens have in common – on point eyewear is the first common denominator that comes to mind. At least, for us anyway. Maybe street style stars love wearing sunnies because it means they can judge other people’s outfits in secret, or maybe it simply ups their mysterious allure … we’ll never know.

What we do know, now that fashion month is coming to a close, is what these “it-girls” will be wearing next year on their faces. As with the rest of the fashion world, there seems to be a general feeling of anything goes, but we’ve narrowed it down to the most innovative eyewear and sunglasses trends for 2019!

Red

Whether its a red frame or red lense (or both!), the bold colour of love found its way onto opthalmic frames and sunnies alike this year. If your wardrobe is full of neutrals this is a great accessory to add a pop of personality, or go “more is more” and pair these with a red ensemble like at Self-Portrait.

I like the idea of having glasses with red frames to pair with a neutral wardrobe. Personally, I tend to wear mostly tan, black, and grey pieces most of the time. Red glasses are something I could utilize to add a subtle but exciting pop of color into my daily outfits.
